Bangladesh Nationalist Party joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi
Ahmed was remanded in police custody on Monday for three days for
interrogation in a case on charge of arson and crude bomb attack on a
bus in Beribadh area at Mohammadpur on January 17.
Dhaka metropolitan magistrate Maruf Hossain passed the order after hearing an petition filed by investigation officer Kamal Krisna Saha. In the petition, the investigator claimed that Rizvi had directed and instigated party activists to carry out the arson attack.
